30 Minutes with a Tree
These photos were all taken of the same tree during a 30-minute period of time.

Spending so long with the same tree enabled me to see details that I would have missed if I'd just taken a few photos and then moved on. When I take photos, I like to wait 10 minutes after I think all photo opportunities are exhausted - because it is then that I see something new and often find the photos that are the most meaningful.

Spending this time taking photos of the same tree also felt like a spiritual practice to me. It enabled me to really connect with the tree and to honour it in all its diversity.
